We had decided to fly straight to Key West which was surprisingly straightforward and arrived in the early evening to collect our hire car at the airport.

We had decided to fly straight to Key West which was surprisingly straightforward and arrived in the early evening to collect our hire car at the airport.
Key Largo
We drove to Key Largo on the Monday of Memorial Day which was very busy with all sorts of traffic on the Overseas Highway.
Naples
We headed up to Naples from Key Largo on the Wednesday by which time the traffic had died down a bit on the Overseas Highway. We travelled right across Florida just skirting the edge of Miami and then right through the Everglades.
Heading home
